Website data

The public website does not use advertising cookies or a hosted contact-form database. The restricted playtest dashboard uses ChatGPT sign-in to give approved accounts access to playtest results.

Blitzdown game data

Blitzdown stores game progress, settings, purchase-entitlement status, and gameplay diagnostics locally on your device so the game can save progress and restore play. The game does not require a player account.

Playtest results

Starting with builds that include Share Test Results, enabled release builds automatically send compact gameplay summaries to DiVisionary Media to study game balance and teaching. They describe the app build, observed game starts and results, lessons shown and acknowledged, mechanics encountered, Gear effects, in-game Fan purchases, and Sideline Call opportunities and uses. They do not include your name, team name, GPS or weather location, raw boards, screen or audio recordings, Apple transaction identifiers, or payment details.

A randomly generated installation credential groups updates from that installation; reinstalling can create a new one. It is not used for advertising or tracking across apps. Reports are stored with our Sites/Cloudflare hosting providers and available only to approved dashboard accounts. Network providers process internet addresses to deliver and protect requests; our application keeps only a rotating salted rate-limit key for up to one day, not a raw internet address.

Each new summary replaces the installation’s previous summary. Local history is limited to 8,000 observations. Sent summaries expire from the dashboard 90 days after the last new upload and are removed from the active database during subsequent reporting requests. Service-provider backups and operational logs may follow their own retention schedules. We do not sell playtest information or use it for advertising.

Playtest reporting starts automatically in supported release builds, without a sharing popup. You can turn Share Test Results off in Pause → Settings to stop future uploads. DELETE SENT RESULTS turns sharing off and queues removal of this installation’s server report when online. A pending deletion survives closing the game. A minimal deletion marker, with no gameplay summary, prevents delayed requests from recreating the report and expires after 90 days. Turning sharing on again can send retained local history. Deleting the app alone cannot contact the server to remove its report. The Copy Test Summary button shares nothing until you choose to send the copied text.

Optional local weather

Local Weather is off by default. If you enable it, the game contacts our weather service, which sends your internet address to WeatherAPI.com to estimate your general area and obtain current conditions. The feature does not request GPS location or send device identifiers, game progress, or purchase information. Service providers may retain network and request logs to operate and protect their services. Weather results are cached on your device for up to six hours. You can turn Local Weather off in Settings; it then stops making weather requests.

Weather data is provided by WeatherAPI.com. See its privacy policy for its data practices.

Purchases

Any App Store purchase is processed by Apple. DiVisionary Media receives entitlement status needed to unlock or restore purchased content, but does not receive your payment-card details.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to include. We use it to respond to your request and retain it only as reasonably needed for support, security, and legal obligations.

Your choices

You can disable Local Weather in the game, reset locally stored progress from Settings, or remove local game data by deleting the app. You may contact us with a privacy or deletion question at any time.
